Pitched Roof Conversions

Converting a flat roof to a pitched roof isn’t always straight forward. Often an existing window can dictate the pitch of a new conversion making it difficult to specify the correct tile. We have come across many roofs that have been converted in this way leading to problems with water ingress and other issues. In some cases we have had to convert roofs from pitched to flat in order to resolve these problems. Our surveyors take into consideration all of the potential difficulties and would be pleased to discuss your conversion project and advise you accordingly.

An example of a porch roof conversion implementing oak beams for support as an eye catching feature. Here we built a timber frame out from the mid level of the pitched roof and topped with reclaimed tiles, ridges and hips allowing it to seamlessly blend in to the existing roof. To compliment the feature of the light oak beams, we coupled them with brilliant white fascia, square gutter and hollow soffit to add a clean, polished finish.

Oaken love hearts are optional.
